 Scientific research
 We
have
made extensive and sustained academic exchange and cooperation with famous universities in Canada, the United States, Russia, New Zealand, Germany, France, Japan, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
We
have
long been the participant of the projects sponsored by Canada International Development Agency (CIDA) since 1983. CCMEP ¢ñ and CCMEP¢ò, jointly completed with University of Toronto, Canada through 1983 till
1994.
The School cultivates Master students jointly with University of Toronto, which
dispatched
their
professors to our
school to give some graduate courses annually. Meanwhile, some teachers and graduate students of the school were sent to University of Toronto to pursue further studies (including those for a higher degree) or conduct joint research. In CCUIPP initiated in 1998, the school joined hands with HEC of University of Montreal, Canada. Joint preparation for teaching by professors from both sides and seminars attended by famous experts from Canadian energy sector both contributed to the cultivation of managerial talents for energy sector in China, and energy organizations of Hubei, Henan and Jiangxi etc. benefited a lot from the project. The school also jointly cultivated postgraduate students with University of Regina, Canada in a way of ¡°1+1¡±. Under this cooperation model, the right candidates studied in both of the universities for one year respectively and the credits obtained were recognized by both of the universities. The qualified candidates were conferred Master degree of Management by HUST and Master degree of Engineering by University of Regina. In addition, the school launched some exchange programs with University of Otago of
 New Zealand.

We
engage a
large
number
of experts and scholars of great academic attainments and managerial experiences
in
our
research
and
academic
endeavors. Many fulltime professors of the school are also engaged as consultants of some
leading
