Case Study Centre

  Founded in 2006 under the direct supervision of the Case Review Committee of the School, the Case Study Centre is committed to promoting and enhancing the teaching and research of Chinese case studies with emphasis on the compilation and development of typical indigenous business cases urgently needed in China’s management education, marking a high-quality teaching case center adapting to the facts and features of China’s business administration education.

  In line with the principle of being “innovative, distinctive and normative”, the Case Study Centre has completed a professional case database which covers over 30 MBA courses such as marketing management, strategic management, human resource management, project management and corporate governance and has collected 379 cases including 125 original ones to provide business cases for teaching, research and cases containing multiple innovative results in management modernization. For the past two years, 5 cases have been admitted successively into “A Hundred Outstanding Case Studies for Teaching”, taking a lead among colleges and universities nationwide.

  As a member of "China Management Case-sharing Center", the Center has established cooperation with noted colleges and universities both at home and abroad, and is closely linked with enterprises, media and other academic institutions. An exclusive area for cases study is set in the School library, offering faculty and students up-to-date study materials and bilingual teaching cases as well as searching, check-in and out, and advisory services.

  Looking into the future, the Case Study Centre will strive to becoming a first-class business case study center and a good platform for case exchanges in China.
