主讲人简介: Originally from Mainland China, Lixin completed her Ph.D. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology in 2013 at Washington State University in the U.S. From 2013 to 2017, Lixin worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychology at University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. In Aug 2017, Lixin began her current role as lecturer at University of Auckland. Her research focuses on occupational health psychology with the goal to promote employee safety, health, and well-being. Within just five years, Lixin has published 35 peer-reviewed papers in international journals and 6 book chapters. Several of these appear in the premier applied psychology journals (e.g., Journal of Management; Journal of Applied Psychology) and many in outlets targeting the important areas her research focuses on (e.g., Work & Stress, Journal of Occupational Health Psychology). Her contributions to the field have been recognized via invitations as a keynote speaker in the job insecurity workshop hosted by North-West University, Johannesburg, South Africa. The practical importance and quality of her research is evidenced by external funding from the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) and invitations for publications from Harvard Business Review. She sits on the editorial boards of the Journal of Organizational Behavior and Stress and Health.
