主讲人简介:
Peter Golder is an internationally acclaimed expert on innovation, quality, and branding. He joined the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College in 2009 and is currently the E.B. Osborn Professor of Marketing and Chair of Tuck’s marketing faculty group. Previously, he was Professor of Marketing and doctoral program coordinator at New York University’s Stern School of Business and has also held faculty appointments at UCLA and Peking University’s Guanghua School of Management. Peter is the co-author of Will and Vision: How Latecomers Grow to Dominate Markets, which won the Berry Book prize as the best book in marketing and was also selected as one of the Top Ten Books of the Year by Harvard Business Review. He is also co-editor of the Handbook of Research on New Product Development. He has published extensively in top journals such as the Journal of Marketing and Marketing Science. Peter’s research has won 13 best-paper or best-book awards and been featured several times in The Wall Street Journal, as well as in The Financial Times, The Economist, Advertising Age, and many other publications. He is the recipient of the Elsevier Distinguished Scholar award for his lifetime contributions to marketing scholarship.

Professor Golder will integrate his decades of research on the stages of the innovation pipeline: opportunity identification, idea generation, concept development, product development, and product launch. His talk will describe how to identify research topics, employ appropriate methodologies, and the insights resulting from these approaches.
