主讲人简介：
德国拜罗伊特大学(Universität Bayreuth)民法、知识产权法与经济法教授，现任该校民法第八教席主任，并担任Zeitschrift für Geistiges Eigentum(ZGE)/Intellectual Property Journal共同主编。其主要研究领域包括德国与欧洲知识产权法、知识产权民事程序与权利执行、欧洲竞争法、欧洲消费者法，以及算法偏见、人工智能规制与非歧视法等数字法前沿议题。曾任柏林自由大学教授，拥有德国弗赖堡大学法学博士学位，并在澳大利亚新南威尔士大学获得媒体、传播与信息技术法法学硕士(LL.M.)。其代表性研究涉及数字经济中的数据治理、欧盟知识产权司法实践以及数字服务法、数据保护法等议题，相关成果发表于Zeitschrift für Geistiges Eigentum、Zeitschrift fur das Privatrecht der Europäischen Union等刊物。

This lecture introduces the developing legal and regulatory framework for artificial intelligence in Germany and Europe.As AI becomes increasingly important across many sectors,legal questions surrounding its governance,accountability,and responsible use have attracted growing attention.Europe has taken a leading role in shaping AI regulation,with Germany actively contributing to these efforts.The lecture willpresent a general overview of major legal and policy issues related to AI,focusing on the relationship between technological innovation and regulatory oversight.It will explore how Germany and Europe are working to create legal frameworks that support innovation while also addressing broader social and ethical concerns.A case study will provide a practical perspective on how AI-related laws and principles may be understood and applied.The talk will be of interest to those concerned with law,technology,digital governance,and the future of regulation in Europe.
