Chinese Journal of Management is a comprehensive academic periodical in management hosted by Huazhong University of Science and Technology under the supervision of the Ministry of Education and jointly organized by 33 universities including Xi’an Jiaotong University, Tsinghua University, Zhejiang University, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Wuhan University, Fudan University, Nanjing University, Tianjin University, Xiamen University, Nankai University and Harbin Institute of Technology. Initiated in July 2004, with a book size at international standard, it contains 160 pages in each volume and was revised as a monthly journal in 2009.
Adhering to the principle of “promoting academic communication in the discipline of management, introducing advanced management concepts around the world, fueling the development of Chinese school of management and boosting continuing development of the discipline of management”, the Chinese Journal of Management has witnessed steady advancement in its quality through 6 years of practice. Its growing identity is widely acknowledged and supported by the academia of management and informatics.
Chinese Journal of Management has been officially admitted by China’s major databases of academic journals. In particular, it was rated as B-level periodical in management science by the Department of Management Sciences of National Natural Science Foundation of China in December 2006 and deemed a source periodical of Chinese Social Sciences Citation Index (CSSCI) in December 2007. In the major index of “influential factor” on journal quality analyzed by CAJCED and hosted by Tsinghua University in December 2008, the Impact Fact of Chinese Journal of Management ranks the 7th among the 31 academic journals in the catalogue of management and comprehensive sciences, and its Number of Citations ranks the 15th .
