On February 2, the world-famous publishing company Elsevier released 2014 Most Cited Chinese Researchers List, 1651 China scholars of the world’s most influential Chinese scholars from social sciences, physics, chemistry, mathematics, economics and other 38 disciplines were included. 33 HUST scholars were among the list and professor Lu Yaobin and associate professor of our School were selected.
The methodology used in the list of 2014 Most Cited Chinese Researchers is developed by Shanghai Ranking Consultancy. The statistical data is based on the Scopus database from Elsevier. Scopus is the largest abstract and citation database of peer-reviewed literature and features tools to track, analyze and visualize scholarly research.
