On October 15th, 2020, the Academic Affairs Office of Huazhong University of Science and Technology issued the Notice on Announcement of the 2020 Distinguished Teacher Results of Huazhong University of Science and Technology. Professor Chang Yaping won the 2020 Distinguished Teacher Award of Huazhong University of Science and Technology. Warm congratulations!
Professor Chang is the doctoral supervisor and the director of the Department of Business Administration of the School of Management, and a visiting scholar at Emory University and Louisiana State University, Baton Rouge. He is the chief editor of Journal of Marketing Science, State Council Special Allowance Expert, member of the lecturer group of the Hubei Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China, and member of the Academic Steering Group for the key projects of the National Natural Science Foundation.
Presided over one key international cooperation project and three general projects of National Natural Science Foundation, Professor Chang has won the Awards for Excellence - 2017 Outstanding Papers announed by Emerald Publishing Group, the 2nd prize of Science and Technology Progress Award of Hubei Province and Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. What’s more, 28 papers have been published in SSCI and SCI journals (with the maximum citations per article reaching 241 times). 50 papers have been published in CSSCI. 8 monographs and textbooks have been published at home and abroad.
Professor Chang has presided over and completed 53 consultation projects for enterprises and local governments. These projects include: omni-channel transformation of traditional enterprises, enterprise digital strategy, business data exploration, market research, customer research, strategic design, cultural design, state-owned enterprise restructuring, development zone planning, Comprehensive planning of local economic and social development, overall risk management and company operation optimization, etc.
