Introduction to the presenter:

Professor Jac Birt is a professor of accounting and chair of the Accounting DepartmentChaoxing and Finance at the Business School of University of Western Australia. Her research areas include international financial reporting standards and accounting education, with emphasis on new accounting techniques. Professor Birt has been chairman of the Accounting and Finance Association of Australia and New Zealand (AFAANZ) since 2011. She is also the representative of AFAANZ on the International Accounting Education Standards Board (IAESB).
