2019 School of Management Summer Social Practice Defense held Successfully

(Article by Ren Ruobing and photo by Huang Lanqian, reporter from the Press and Publicity Center of the School Management) On September 18th, the School of Management's 2019 Summer Social Practice Defense Meeting was successfully held in Room 206 of the School of Management. A total of 12 teams participated in the defense. Judges attending the defense Industry & Business Administration Department included Li Feng, associate professor of Department of Production Operation and Logistics Management; Zhao Ling, associate professor of Department of Management Science and Information Management; Zheng Lu, lecturer of Business Administration Department; Qian Ningyu, lecturer of Financial and Financial Management Department; Teng Hongda, instructor of 2016; and Zhang He, instructor r of 2018.



First of all, the host announced the opening of the defense, and 2019 Summer School of Management to introduce the general situation of social practice, at the same time, the selection process and rules of the defense were briefly described. The defense will be divided into the first half and the second half, each half by six practice teams to report, and accept questions from the judges. Finally, five third prize winners, three second prize winners and one first prize winner will be selected.



Through PPT demonstration, each practice team showed their own practice process, practice results, and shared their own practice experience and insights. Some teams went into poverty alleviation demonstration villages to offer advice and suggestions for the motherland's precise poverty alleviation. Some teams embrace the left-behind children, conveying warmth and touching; Some teams go to the field of science and technology, feel forward to the development of the industry. They go deep into the social reality, understand the social status quo, constantly improve their overall quality in the process of exploration, and combine what they know and learn to contribute to social construction. Subsequently, the judges raised questions about the contents of the report of each practice team, pointed out the deficiencies in the research and design of the practice team, affirmed the efforts and efforts of the practice team, and emphasized the significance of summer social practice.



Finally, Teng Hongda summed up the defense, hoping that members of the practice team can cherish the social practice, continue to enrich themselves, improve themselves, use professional knowledge, and contribute their own value to society. So far, this defense was successfully concluded.
