Introduction to the presenter:

Inneke Van Nieuwenhuyse is currently a professor at the School of Business and Economics at the University of Leuven, Belgium, a professor at the School of Business and Economics at the University Hasselt, and a member of Hubei “100 Foreign Experts” project. He has been a peer-reviewed professor at Omega, EJOR (European Journal of Operational Research), C&OR, (Computers & Operations Research) and Transportation Research. He mainly teaches supply chain management, facility design and operational strategy courses. He specializes in the design and analysis of stochastic manufacturing and supply chain systems. He specializes in simulation optimization, supply chain performance, supply chain coordination, and performance modeling of manufacturing, service and inventory systems. He has published more than 30 articles in leading international journals and nearly two dozen articles on the topic.
