(Words and photographs by Dai Lei, a journalist of News and Promotion Center of the School of Management) On the afternoon of September 10, Jin Lingzhi, Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Management, Li Song, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the School of Management, and Zhao Shuai, the instructor, went to the student dormitory to extend their condolences to Zhang Yifeng, a college student of our School enlisted in 2019.
Zhang Yifeng, an undergraduate majoring in Business Administration of Class 2017, will go to a military unit in Henan Province this month to start a two-year military life after passing the review through registration, physical examination, investigation and training.
Jin Lingzhi congratulated Zhang Yifeng on behalf of the School, saying that Zhang Yifeng's behavior of taking the initiative to enlist in the army shows the patriotism as well as the sense of responsibility of contemporary college students. Enlistment in the army is a personal honor of the students and the glory of the School. Zhang Yifeng told the story of how he signed up to get enlisted, saying that he had been dreaming of joining the army since childhood and hoped to serve the country in the western region after graduation and devote his youth to the construction of the motherland. Jin Lingzhi delivered his hope that Zhang Yifeng, when he arrived in the army, would establish correct values, seriously participate in military training, give full play to his professional skills, actively put himself under a certain pressure, unite with his comrades-in-arms, strictly abide by the discipline requirements of the army and work hard, striving to be an excellent enlisted college student, and becoming the proud and wining honor for the School of management and his College.
Finally, on behalf of the School, Jin Lingzhi presented Zhang Yifeng with books such as Xi Jinping's Seven Years of Educated Youth, Stay True To the Mission and The Strength of Belief, encouraging him to persevere in his study during his military training, constantly improve his ideological understanding and ability, display his talents in the fiery military camp, and refine himself.
